What is the best way to store herbs?
Herbs and spices should be stored in an airtight container such as a glass bottle in a cool and dark location such as a pantry. Herbs can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer but should be vacuum sealed to protect product from moisture.
Where do our herbs come from?
Herbs are grown all over the world and shipped to our vendors for quality testing. Testing includes organoleptic analysis for aroma, color, flavor and texture. Physical testing involves moisture, volatile oil content, heavy metals, microbiology, thin layer chromatography, and other tests specific to each herb.
What is the shelf life of herbs?
Herbs can lose potency over time. If stored in airtight containers, such as glass jars, and kept in a cool, dark, dry place, whole herbs and spices can last up to 3-4 years and ground herbs and spices can last 1-2 years.

Can I place an order by phone?
Yes, you may call us Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10 am to 3:30 pm, pacific time at 707-839-4101.
Can I order on the phone or by mail?
Yes, you can. Our printed catalog has an order form. To order a catalog, email your address to: firstname.lastname@example.org or call the order desk at: 707-839-4101 during office hours, 10 am to 3:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Do we accept international orders?
At this time we are only accepting orders from Canada and the US. Canadian orders must be placed by phone. Many countries have regulations regarding herbs being imported.
What methods of shipping do we use?
Because of our rural location, the best and cheapest route to our customers is through the United States Postal Service. Large shipments can be shipped via UPS by request over the phone.
How long does it take for an order to be delivered in the United States through the Post Office?
Priority Mail: 2-3 days,
Express Mail: 2 days.
Standard Ground Mail: up to 1 week.
What are the office hours?
Our office hours are 10 am to 3:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We are closed on all federal holidays.
When do products ship?
Most orders are shipped immediately on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday if orders are placed by noon, pacific time. During the pandemic, it may take an additional 1-2 days to get your order shipped.
How long does it take to get an out of stock item?
If we run out of an item it can usually be restocked within one week. We will notify you by email or phone if your order contains an out of stock item. We can ship in stock items and then back order the out of stock item, or you may choose to wait for the back ordered item to arrive and ship the entire order together.
What if I am not satisfied with a product?
If you are not totally satisfied with an item, you may return it with a copy of your invoice within 30 days. Unopened packages can receive a full refund, or opened packages will be subject to a 20% restocking charge. We do not offer refunds on shipping unless there is an error on our part. Sale items are not refundable.
How do I return an order?
You may call us during office hours or email us at: email@example.com. Unopened priority mail packages can be returned to your local post office and returned for no extra charge.
