Collection: Herbal Teas
Loose-leaf teas have superior flavor and potency over powdered store-bought teas. We offer effective, health benefiting herbal teas with distinctive flavor and fragrant aromas. They are time-tested formulas, most created by Rosemary Gladstar. All teas are made from organic herbs, ethically wild-crafted herbs, or herbs grown without chemicals. We suggest 1 cup, up to 3 x daily.
All herbs/teas should be stored in a cool, dark and dry location such as a pantry. Herbs stored in this way will remain fresh much longer. Herbs/teas may also be stored in the freezer. Thaw herbs at room temperature. Do not microwave herbs/teas.
To make a tea from flower and leaf or powdered herbs, use the infusion method; pour one cup boiling water over 1 teaspoon of herbs, cover and allow to steep for 5-15 minutes, strain.
To make a tea from barks, roots or seeds, use decoction method; add 3/4 teaspoon of herbs to 1 cup water, cover and simmer (do not boil) for 10-20 minutes, strain.
