Our herbs are third-party certified organic herbs, ethically wild-crafted herbs, and herbs that are grown without pesticides. WHO WE ARE
We are a family-run business located in the Northern California Redwood Forest. This region is home to a diverse variety of plant life in a temperate zone much like the Mediterranean. Here we organically grow or wild craft plants used to make a few of our herbal products. We also carry wildcrafted and organic bulk herbs from the best and most reputable organic farmers and distributors in the Northern California and Oregon region. We are now semi-retired and have reduced our office hours so that we may enjoy more time in our gardens.
Wild Weeds began in 1987 when the famous herbalist, Rosemary Gladstar, started the business as a source for her students to find the products they needed in their study of herbs. Today, the Coffman family owns Wild Weeds and is proud to follow Rosemary Gladstarís footsteps by offering the finest herbs and herbal products for herb students, teachers, small businesses, and the general public.
